Lea
Lea grew up in Cebu City in the Philippines and trained there as a physical therapist. She is licensed in the Philippines. She is not licensed in the United States, and she does not treat patients at Wellsprings Health. What that training gives her is a reliable filter. When a claim about the pelvic floor turns up online, she can tell the difference between what is established and what is somebody's opinion dressed up as advice, and that difference is the whole job.
Her route here ran through customer service during COVID and then into healthcare virtual assistance, where the clinical side and the service side finally met in one role. She also hosted on Airbnb, handling guest communication and coordination, which is where the content and ads work began. At Wellsprings Health she supports clinical and administrative workflows and creates the patient education you see on our channels. Most people arrive buried in conflicting information about their own bodies. Her work is to hand them something accurate and readable instead, so the clinic makes sense to you before you ever pick up the phone.
Progress, not perfection.
What guides the work.
Respect, compassion and integrity are the three Lea works from, and in a content role they have real teeth. Respect means writing to adults about their own bodies without softening the words into uselessness, because vague language is what sent most people looking for answers in the first place. Compassion means remembering that whoever is reading a post about painful sex or leaking has probably already been dismissed by someone. Integrity means she will not publish a claim this clinic cannot stand behind, and will not imply she is offering treatment when she is not. Care and purpose, in her own words, applied to everything she puts her name to.
Off the clock.
Life beyond the feed.
Lea starts with a slow morning, before anything else is allowed to happen. After that: the gym, a run when the weather cooperates, food trips worth the drive, and a beach day whenever one is on offer. Good people, good food, somewhere new. It is a short list and she keeps to it, which is more or less the same steadiness she brings to the work.
