Accessibility Statement

Wellsprings Health wants every patient, including patients using a screen reader, voice control, keyboard-only navigation, or any other assistive technology, to be able to learn about our practice and request an appointment on this website. This statement describes our conformance target, the measures we've taken, what we know still falls short, and how to tell us when something doesn't work.

Conformance Target

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Section 504 rule and the benchmark most commonly applied in web accessibility litigation under the ADA. WCAG AA is a target we actively maintain, not a one-time certification; browsers, assistive technology, and this site's own content all change over time.

Measures We've Taken

This site was built and then audited specifically against WCAG 2.1 AA before launch. That pass included, among other things:

• A visible keyboard focus indicator on every link, button, and form field, sitewide.
• A "Skip to main content" link as the first stop for keyboard users on every page.
• Descriptive alternative text on every image, including the credential and award badges, and a described diagram for the body-map graphic.
• A booking form that stays fully usable, labeled, and submittable even if JavaScript fails to load, with clear error messages tied to the field that needs attention.
• A mobile menu that traps and returns keyboard focus correctly and closes with the Escape key.
• Respect for your operating system's "reduce motion" setting: every animation on this site lands instantly in its final, readable state when that preference is on.
• Color and contrast checked against WCAG AA minimums for body text, buttons, links, and focus indicators, on every background this site uses.

We review this site again whenever we add a new page or feature, and periodically even when we haven't, using both automated testing tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks.

Known Limitations

No website is perfectly accessible to every person and every technology, and we would rather tell you where we currently fall short than claim otherwise:

• Google Reviews widget (Elfsight): the scrolling reviews section on our homepage is a third-party embed. We've confirmed it doesn't block keyboard access to the rest of the page, but we do not control its internal code and cannot promise it meets every WCAG success criterion on its own.
• Google Maps embed: the map on our contact and appointment sections is a third-party Google iframe. It carries a descriptive title, but full keyboard operation of the map itself (panning, zooming) is controlled by Google, not by us.
