Dr. Jessica Azzinaro

PT, DPT · Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

Dr. Jessica Azzinaro earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Florida in 2005, then her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 2010. It was during that program that pelvic health found her, and she has spent every year since making pelvic floor rehabilitation the center of her practice. In 2014 she became a Certified Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist through the American Physical Therapy Association, and she has kept building on that foundation through the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health, the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and the Institute of Birth Healing.

Her advanced training reaches across pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain and pudendal neuralgia, myofascial release and hands-on manual therapy, pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation, and postoperative pelvic floor care. With more than sixteen years in the clinic, she has treated patients across the full range of pelvic health and orthopedic conditions, and she still works each case as its own puzzle rather than reaching for a standard protocol. The evidence sets the direction; the patient in front of her decides how it gets applied.

In Their Words
I believe in compassionate, evidence-based care, an environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their health.

Core Values

What guides the work.

Jessica's care rests on being heard first. Pelvic health carries a stigma that keeps people quiet everywhere else in their life, so she works to make her treatment room the one place where nothing is too difficult or embarrassing to say out loud. Education comes next: she explains what she finds and why it matters, so you leave understanding your own body a little better than you walked in, not just carrying an exercise sheet. As a wife and mother of two, she also knows her patients are usually managing families, careers and everyone else's needs before their own, and she treats that reality as part of the plan rather than an obstacle to it. Sixteen years in, what hasn't changed is the belief that healing works best when it is evidence-based, individualized and, above all, patient-centered.
